Dennis
Flis, Town Appraiser
His
hard work and dedication as the Town Appraiser are highlighted in
the Town Administrators nomination of Town Appraiser Dennis
Flis as the Employee of the Month. The Town is fortunate to have
someone like Dennis with his background and expertise as part of
our financial team. For all of that and for his continued dedication
to the Town of Walpole and his profession, it is the Towns
pleasure to present Dennis Flis as the December 2007 Employee
of the Month.

Hugh Percy, Building Maintenance Custodian
His
hard work and commitment to the Town of Walpole and training are
highlighted in the Recreation Coordinators nomination of Hugh
Percy as the Employee of the Month. For all of that and for his
continued dedication to the Town of Walpole and his profession,
it is the Towns pleasure to present Building Maintenance
Custodian Hugh Percy as the November 2007 Employee of the Month.

Officer Heather Sullivan
Her
commitment to Community Policing is highlighted in the Sergeant
Carmichaels nomination of Police Officer Heather Sullivan
as the employee of the month. For all of that and for her continued

Towns pleasure to present Police Officer Heather Sullivan
as the October 2007 Employee of the Month.

2007 Employee of the Month
Bob O'Brien, DPW Director
His
diligent efforts and hard work with regards to the East Walpole
Public Works Economic Development Grant are highlighted in the Town
Administrators nomination of DPW Director Bob OBrien
as the employee of the month. For all of that and for his continued
dedication to the Town of Walpole and his profession, it is the
Towns pleasure to present DPW Director Bob OBrien
as the September 2007 Employee of the Month.
August
2007 Employee of the Month
Kathy Hutchinson, Senior Animal Control Clerk
Her
diligent efforts while working as the Senior Clerk for the Animal
Control Officer/Veterans Agent and her willingness to take on additional
works are highlighted in the Animal Control Officer/Veterans Agent
nomination of Kathy Hutchison as the employee of the month. In his
nomination the Animal Control Officer/Veteran's Agent explained
that thru her due diligence his office collected approximately $10,000
in late fees and fines. For all of that and for her continued dedication
to the Town of Walpole and her profession, it is the Town's pleasure
to present Kathy Hutchinson as the August 2007 Employee of the
Month.

2007 Employee of the Month
Joy Idman, Staff Assistant

Her
hard work and diligent efforts in the Treasurer/Tax Collectors
Office are highlighted in the Finance Directors nomination
of Joy Idman as the Employee of the Month. For all of that and for
her continued dedication to the Town of Walpole and her profession,
it is the Towns pleasure to present Joy Idman as the July
2007 Employee of the Month.

Assistant
Town Engineer Charlie Quigley & Engineering Assistant Ron Prebis
The
outstanding work they have been doing in the Engineering Department
is highlighted in Selectman Winston's nomination of Charlie Quigley
and Ron Prebis as the employees of the month. In her nomination
Selectman Winston explained that she recently received a phone call
from a resident complimenting Ron and Charlie on your handling of
some of the recent paving jobs going on in Walpole. Selectman Winston
noted that the resident stated that both of you were professional,
polite, very knowledgeable, and solved an ongoing problem. For all
of that and for their continued dedication to the Town of Walpole
and their profession, it is the Town's pleasure to present Assistant
Town Engineer Charlie Quigley and Engineering Assistant Ron Prebis
as the June 2007 Employees of the Month.

Jay
Mahoney, Deputy Building Inspector

His
diligent efforts the past few months in the Building Commissioner's
office and his ability and willingness to take on additional work
since the office has been down an inspector are highlighted in the
Building Commissioner's nomination of Deputy Inspector Jay Mahoney
as the Employee of the Month. For all of that and for his continued
dedication to the Town of Walpole and his profession, it is the
Town's pleasure to present Deputy Building Inspector Jay Mahoney
as the April 2007 Employee of the Month.

Vincent Hobson, PC Support Technician
His
diligent efforts and hard work in the Information Systems Department
are highlighted in the Town Administrator's and IS Director's nomination
of Vince Hobson as the Employee of the Month. Vince has put a great
deal of time and effort into the design and usability of the inventory
database and he is always willing to lend a hand to any Town or
School Department. For all of that and for his continued dedication
to the Town of Walpole and his profession, it is the Town's pleasure
to present Information Systems Support Technician Vince Hobson
as the March 2007 Employee of the Month.

Maggie
Walker, Town Engineer

Her
outstanding efforts managing Plimpton Street Bridge project and
the East Walpole PWED Project are highlighted in the Town Administrator's
nomination of Maggie Walker as the Employee of the Month. For all
of that and for her continued dedication to the Town of Walpole
and her profession, it is the Town's pleasure to present Town
Engineer Maggie Walker as the February 2007 Employee of the Month.

His
diligent efforts procuring a Fire Act Grant that will bring in $190,272
worth of new fire equipment and training are highlighted in the
Fire Chief's nomination of Deputy Fire Chief Mike Laracy as the
Employee of the Month. For all of that and for his continued dedication
to the Town of Walpole and his profession, it is the Town's pleasure
to present Deputy Fire Chief Mike Laracy as the January 2007
Employee of the Month.
