MRSA
(Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus)

 

MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) is a kind of “Staph” bacteria that is resistant to some kinds of antibiotics. It is resistant to a family of antibiotics related to penicillin that includes antibiotics called methicillin and oxacillin.
