The Walpole Parks Department's responsibilities include running the Robbins Road Compost Facility, the maintenance of all town owned athletic fields, consisting of 42 acres of high usage turf, all common grass areas throughout town and surrounding all public schools and town buildings. All public shade trees that line our streets throughout the town and are planted on town owned lands, including all conservation lands are also the responsibility of the Parks Dept.
