| The
Walpole Parks Department's responsibilities include running the Robbins
Road Compost Facility, the maintenance of all town owned athletic
fields, consisting of 42 acres of high usage turf, all common grass
areas throughout town and surrounding all public schools and town
buildings. All public shade trees that line our streets throughout
the town and are planted on town owned lands, including all conservation
lands are also the responsibility of the Parks Dept. |

Cemeteries
Walpole
has six established cemeteries of which three are still active and
three are of historical significance: Terrace Hill, Maple Grove,
Rural, Old Burial Ground, Guild, and Plains.
