The
Town Forest Committee had installed this gate to allow vehicles
to enter into that side of the town forest to conduct cleaning
and cutting. The gate also will allow for fire apparatus to enter
in an emergency. There is a similar gate on the other side of
Washington Street at the Walpole Park South entrance of the Town
Forest.

Near Dam
This
bench that was donated to the Town Forest and placed at
the Blackburn Dam site behind the High School. The dam is accessible
from a
path behind 140 South Street.
