Services supports qualified Walpole Veterans and their dependents
under Chapter 115 of the General Laws and through other available
funds for cases of an emergency nature. Many requests are received
for other services:

As Burial Agent, this department officiates at graveside veterans'
services and presents the flag of the United States to the widow
or next of kin. This
office, in cooperation with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5188,
has a Veterans Council that meets and runs Veterans activities.
