Water Conservation Grant

The Town of Walpole Sewer and Water Department has received a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection for a water conservation program to reduce residential consumption.

The program consists of educational outreach, giveaways (showerheads and faucet aerators), rebates, and leak detection.

The Water Department has teamed with the Neponset River Watershed Association in Canton, MA, to help facilitate the grant.

They have also partnered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency WaterSense Program, which promotes water-saving techniques, and encourages customers to look for WaterSense labeled products that have been independently certified for efficiency.

Please contact Rick Mattson, Superintendent of the Sewer and Water Department, 508-660-7307, with any questions about the Walpole Water Conservation Program.
