Master Plan Steering Committee Openings

The Walpole Planning Board is looking for members of the public to serve on the Master Plan Steering Committee for the following positions:

 

At-Large Member

The Walpole Planning Board is seeking one member from the public to serve on the Master Plan Steering Committee as an At-Large member. The Town is in the process of updating its 2004 Master Plan. As part of this process, a 13 member Steering Committee will be appointed as the primary group charged with coordinating public outreach, reviewing applicable data and findings, providing initial feedback and review on plan development, and working with the Master Plan consultant and Town Staff to accomplish these tasks. Members of the Steering Committee can expect at least 1 monthly night meeting with 3-5 community outreach events. All individuals interesting in serving as the At-Large representative to the Master Plan Steering Committee should submit a letter of interest and resume to the Walpole Planning Board at 135 School Street, Walpole, MA 02081. Business Rep Member

The Walpole Planning Board is seeking one local business owner to serve on the Master Plan Steering Committee as a representative of the town’s business community. The Town is in the process of updating its 2004 Master Plan. As part of this process, a 13 member Steering Committee will be appointed as the primary group charged with coordinating public outreach, reviewing applicable data and findings, providing initial feedback and review on plan development, and working with the Master Plan consultant and Town Staff to accomplish these tasks. Members of the Steering Committee can expect at least 1 monthly night meeting with 3-5 community outreach events.
