Check out our online permits and permit search! All permits are available online. We also have express permits available same day (specific permit types). Plumbing and Electrical permits are also available online. Go to "Building Permits, Applications and Forms" on the left to access our permitting system or use one of the links below.

ALL BUILDING PERMITS, COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL ARE ENTIRELY ONLINE.

Plans, insurance and license info need to be submitted electronically for online permits

The Building Department has an open door policy. If a citizen, taxpayer, homeowner, etc., has a question or concern, please give our staff a call so we can address the matter.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Tuesday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

ELECTRICAL INSPECTIONS ARE CONDUCTED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF: 7:00 AM TO 9:00 AM - Monday - Friday
PLUMBING & GAS INSPECTIONS ARE CONDUCTED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF : 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM - Monday - Friday

TO SCHEDULE BUILDING, GAS or PLUMBING INSPECTION PLEASE CALL THE MAIN NUMBER AT 508-660-7324. TO SCHEDULE AN ELECTRICAL INSPECTION CALL 508-660-6348.  If you have a question for the Electrical or Plumbing/Gas Inspector you can call and leave a message. They will return your call the next time they are in the office. 

BUILDING INSPECTIONS ARE CONDUCTED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF:

10:00 AM TO 12:OO PM and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Monday - Thursday

10:00 AM to 12:00 AM Friday

Building, Electric and Plumbing inspections on weekends after hours and before hours by request. Applicable fee must be paid.

Building Permits, Residential and Commercial applications are accepted during at anytime online. We also have public computers in our office for you to fill out an application.
