The newest school in our district is under construction!
Walpole Middle School is designed to provide a contemporary, 21st-Century learning environment with modern team-based layout and enhanced instructional technology. Students in Grades 6, 7 and 8, formerly from Bird MS and Johnson MS, will enjoy the new middle school upon its scheduled opening in August 2024.

The Walpole Middle School Unity Committee is a group of staff members from both JMS and BMS, along with Dr. Gough and Dr. Hahn, who are dedicated to thoughtfully plan for the combining of our two middle schools into one cohesive learning environment at Walpole Middle School. The committee has been meeting consistently since the beginning of the year to ensure a seamless transition for students, staff and families.
On January 28, they had the opportunity to tour Walpole Middle School and the tangible progress has sparked excitement that has spread across our school communities.
