Walpole Master Plan - Kitchen Conversations

A Master Plan Visioning Meeting in a Box
Walpole Master Plan - Kitchen Conversations

Visioning is an important first step for a community to undertake in updating its Master Plan. It allows us to discuss the Town's strengths and weaknesses, what we like and don't like, and what challenges may impact us to get where we would like to be. This past fall we had our first public forum on the topic of visioning followed by an online survey. With the start of 2022, we would like to offer an additional visioning activity for residents to take part in. We are calling this visioning activity "Kitchen Conversations" and they function as smaller at home visioning meetings that you can conduct with your Walpole friends and neighbors. These meetings take place in small groups of 8 to 12 people and can be conducted either in person or remotely.

Attached to this article you will find the Kitchen Conversation Meeting Packet which provides a step-by-step guide on how to conduct a visioning meeting, materials needed, and where to send the meeting results. We have also included an additional help guide for running this type of meeting remotely.

Kitchen Conversations are an available visioning activity now until January 31, 2022. Help us work together on planning Walpole's future!
