Local Rapid Recovery Plan
The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) launched the Local Rapid Recovery Planning (LRRP) Grant as a response to the impacts COVID-19 has had on local economies.
The grant provides municipalities an opportunity to utilize professional consultation services to develop achievable project-based recovery plans which are created specifically to be implemented in downtowns or town centers.
The Town of Walpole in partnership with the non-profit group, Destination Downtown, was awarded in early 2021 and completed the plan in October of 2021
