Walpole Master Plan - First Public Forum

Help us envision a bright future for Walpole!
Master Plan Public Forum - November 17, 2021 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Walpole High School
Event Date:
Wednesday, November 17, 2021 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

On Wednesday, November 17th the Town begins the process of updating its Master Plan through our first Community Forum. The forum will be taking place from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. in the cafeteria of Walpole High School. The primary focus of the first community forum will be to discuss participants’ thoughts and ideas for developing a vision of Walpole's future. After a brief overview and presentation, smaller discussion groups will be facilitated where participants will be asked specific questions designed to identify common values and goals that will help form the components of a common vision for the Town's future. Child care and a light dinner will be available for those attending.

This is just the first of three planned Community Forums but it will play an important role in identifying shared goals and a community vision. Those that are unable to attend in person will be able to participate through a separate online platform which will be available for five days after the live forum on November 17th. Information on accessing that platform will be made available next week.

While the Town does not have a mask mandate we encourage those attending to follow the recommendations of the Walpole Health Department and CDC:

Use Masks to Help Slow Spread | CDC- Who should wear a mask:

  • People including children older than 2, who are not fully vaccinated
  • Fully vaccinated people with a weakened immune system
  • To maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possible spreading it to others, fully vaccinated people should wear a mask indoor in public if they are in an area of substantial or high transmissionWalpole is currently at substantial risk.
