Equity in Action Series Registration

In keeping with the mission and equity principles of our regional MassCALL3 grant, we are excited to invite you to join us for a 3-part webinar series centered on building diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) principals into our prevention work ~ Cultural competency, health disparities, and health equity are familiar terms to prevention professionals. A focus on health equity allows communities to direct their prevention strategies toward the most vulnerable populations in the region they serve. In doing this, we contribute to the reduction of health disparities and support initiatives that create community and societal change.

The Equity In Action learning journey will include three 1.5 hour sessions- session content descriptions below - with time in each session for reflection and application of innovative ideas generated in each workshop. Public health initiatives are often more effective and efficient when addressing the needs of the most underserved communities. Our goal is to improve the capacity and acknowledge and address equity challenges in our MassCALL3 communities.
