City/Town Construction Notification

MassDOT will be conducting work in your community in the near future. The following project information is being forwarded to you for distribution to affected City/Town Departments.

Project Location (City/Town): Sharon & Walpole

Estimated Start Date of Work: 5/5/19

Project Type: Roadway Resurfacing

Resident Engineer and Contact Information: April Letourneau (774-292-2091)

Description of Work: Milling and Paving on Rte 1 (SB) from Route 95 Interchange to Old Post Road Walpole.

Contractor and Contact Information Aggregate Industries, Ben Sampson 781-856-2004

Hours of Operations (Day/Night): Night (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM)

Description of Traffic Management: Anticipate one lane closure with one directional traffic.  Police officers, warning signs, light towers, arrow boards, truck mounted attenuators and cones will be utilized for construction setups.

Estimated Duration of Work: anticipate 2 nights of milling, 2 nights of paving, a week of line striping and wire loops.
