Medicare Eligible Retiree
The Town of Walpole now offers two senior supplemental plans to our retirees, Medex with MedicareRX OR Medicare PPO Blue with FreedomRX.
All retirees and spouses approaching the age of 65 must apply for MEDICARE Parts A & B through Social Security three months prior to their 65th birthday in order to continue medical coverage through the Town of Walpole.
Retirees must provide a copy of their MEDICARE card and complete the enrollment form for the BCBS Medex with MedicareRX OR Medicare PPO Blue with FreedomRX plan by the 10th of the month prior to their 65th birthday.
