Parks Active Areas

The Parks and Forest Division is responsible for the care and maintenance of all town-owned active recreation areas to include:

  • Seven School Properties (WHS, BMS, JMS, Elm St., OPR, Boyden, Fisher)
  • 67 Acres of Active Fields (Jarvis Farm, Turco Fields, South Walpole Community Athletic Complex (SWCAC), Bird Field, Johnson Field, Fisher Field, Stone, Morgan, Center Pool, South Pool)
  • 13 Baseball/Softball Diamonds
  • 2 Playgrounds
  • 10 Natural Grass Fields
  • 2 Synthetic Fields (SWCAC)
  • 1 Synthetic Field & Track (Turco)
