Walpole Fix it Clinic 2026

Save the Date for our upcoming ‘Fix it Clinic’ which will be taking place on Tuesday, May 5 2026 from 4pm-7pm at the Walpole Public Library Community Room.

For those of you unfamiliar with the ‘Fix it Clinic’ concept, the event is held to fix items you may have which are broken (lamps, electronics, etc.), in hopes to eliminate the number of items going into the waste stream and also deter individuals from purchasing new items.

At this point we have a few individuals who have vocalized an interest in helping out at this event as Fixit Coaches/Fixperts. The most important criteria for volunteering as a Fixit Coach or Fixpert is enthusiasm and willingness to work with a neighbor to solve a problem. Should you be interested in helping out at this event, if you haven’t already reached out to me, please do so at mranieri@walpole-ma.gov. With this being our first event, we are unsure the volume of items we will be fixing, however we wanted to kick off our first ‘Fix it Clinic’ in hopes that we will continue to expand on these types of events, holding them more frequently throughout the year.

Please feel free to share the attached flyer. You will see on the flyer that there is a sign-up link & QR code for those interested in bringing items to this event to be fixed. It is not required for individuals to sign-up; however, it gives those running the event a better idea of what to expect for volume.
