Volunteer Information

In response to the outreach that residents have made looking to support the Town of Walpole's efforts to address and contain the COVID-19 outbreak, we have generated this form to compile contact information of individuals who are interested in volunteering. All volunteer application requests will be done utilizing the Walpole Health Department's Medical Reserve Corp Application process.

The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a community-based network of volunteers that assists public health efforts in times of special need or disaster. The Norfolk County-8 Medical Reserve Corps was established by the local Boards of Health/Health Departments in Canton, Dedham, Milton, Needham, Norwood, Wellesley, Walpole, and Westwood, in order strengthen local public health, improve emergency response capabilities, and build resiliency. Residents with medical expertise as well as those with other important skills are needed to assist the Walpole Health Department and the community in the event of a public health emergency. In addition, volunteers can also help with other local public health events, such as our annual flu clinics.

As part of our volunteer application process, we ask that you also complete and digitally submit a CORI Form. Links to CORI documents can be found at the end of this application.
